People's Power Presidential Candidate Yoon Seok-yeol visits the Nobel Peace Prize Memorial Hall Kim Dae-jung in Mokpo, Jeollanam-do this morning.

In the afternoon, we will go to Bonghama Village in Gimhae and pay a visit to the graveyard of the late former President Roh Moo-hyun.

Previously, Candidate Yoon visited the May 18th National Cemetery yesterday.

It has been three weeks since the so-called Chun Doo-hwan advocacy remarks during the primary election.

I was planning to offer incense and flowers along with an apology for my remarks in front of the memorial tower, but it was blocked by Gwangju civic groups such as the May Mothers' Association.

In the end, after meditating far away from the memorial tower, I took out the prepared apology and read it.

Candidate Yoon said that he remembers the sacrifices made by the citizens of Gwangju in May of 40 years ago with blood and tears for democracy.

[Yoon Seok-yeol/People's Power Presidential Candidate: I will surely achieve the national unity you desire and inherit and develop the democracy you have won.]

He also emphasized that the spirit of the 5.18 must go up in the preamble of the Constitution when revising the Constitution. He criticized the execution of an apology against the citizens of Gwangju as if executing a warrant.

Presidential candidate Shim Sang-jung of the Justice Party participated in a walking demonstration demanding the passage of the anti-discrimination law within the year yesterday, and presidential candidate Ahn Cheol-soo of the People's Party raised his voice that the president, a domestic lawyer, cannot protect the Republic of Korea at a time when science and technology are important.
