It was at the end of August that the child skeleton was found.

Two residents in Åkerby in Tierp municipality renovated their house when the skeleton fell from the ceiling.

Since then, the police have handled the case, but in the future, the Upplands Museum will take care of the remains.

- The history of the skeleton says a lot about the Uppland history, but also how women felt during the late 18th century, says Berit Schütz.

The Upplands Museum is now discussing how this find will be handled in the most appropriate way.

"Can be an exhibition"

- It can be part of a larger exhibition, but there may also be interest from researchers.

Right now we have just decided that the skeleton will end up with us, then we will have to take a closer look at different alternatives, says Berit Schütz.
