The EU-European Union has expressed its intention to consider new sanctions on Belarus, saying that the former Soviet Belarus is intentionally trying to cross the border of a large number of migrants to EU member states.

Thousands of migrants, believed to have come from the Middle East and elsewhere, are gathering near the border with Poland in western Belarus, and the Polish Ministry of Defense has deployed approximately 15,000 soldiers to guard the border. We are strengthening.



On this issue, the EU has criticized Belarus for intentionally crossing the border, confirming that EU President Michelle visited Poland on the 10th and will unite as the EU to respond to Belarus. He expressed his intention to consider new sanctions.



Meanwhile, German Chancellor Angela Merkel called on the Belarusian government to work on a solution in a telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin, who is behind Belarus on the 10th.



However, according to the Russian Presidential Administration, Putin seems to have indicated that the EU is responsible for solving the problem by proposing that the EU speak directly with Belarus.
