According to prosecutor Katarina Ström Lindberg, it is still unclear what is behind the act where a 36-year-old man died and his father, a man in his 60s, was stabbed in the face and neck.

The act took place both in the victim's apartment and on the street outside.

It has taken a long time to interrogate all the witnesses and map all traces of blood, but now the investigation is complete.

The prosecutor will prosecute the 36-year-old for murder and attempted murder.

According to the prosecutor, the man in his 60s was subjected to a life-threatening act in the form of a knife blow to the neck and received cuts to the face and neck.

- He used a knife and another sharp object and other violence in the form of kicks and blows, says Katarina Ström Lindberg.

Has acknowledged

The suspect, who is also 36 years old, has previously admitted murder, but denied the attempted murder.

Victim and perpetrator did not know each other, but somehow the suspect must have felt threatened.

This is what his former defense lawyer Lena Rebane told SVT in June:

- He has experienced that the dead have posed some form of threat, but the motive is not so clear at the moment.

He has quite large memory gaps of the course of events, especially with regard to the attempted murder.

SVT is looking for the man's current defender.
