European justice has just confirmed a fine imposed in June 2017 by Brussels on Google for abuse of a dominant position in the price comparison market.

For more than eleven years, Google has opposed the European Commission, in the case of its price comparison,

Brussels accuses the American giant of having abused its dominant position in online research, to favor its price comparison, to the detriment of its competitors, in thirteen European countries.

To find another price comparison service, you have to search.

Indeed, the digital giant relegates them much further in its pages to make them less visible to consumers.

In addition to the fine, Google had to change the display of search results, in order to give more space to its rivals.

Even if this fine of 2.4 billion dollars, imposed on Google seems very modest compared to its financial resources.

The American giant can still challenge it before the higher court, the Court of Justice of the European Union.

Brussels is not done with Google.

The Commission, guardian of competition within the EU, accuses him of similar complaints, in the areas of vacation rentals and advertisements of job vacancies.
