The Minister of Cabinet Affairs, Mohammed Abdullah Al Gergawi, and the founder and president of the World Economic Forum, Klaus Schwab, inaugurated yesterday the “Expo 2020 Dubai” portal as part of an event especially to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the launch of the World Economic Forum since its first establishment in January 1971, and the culmination of years of partnership Strategy and history between the UAE and the World Economic Forum.
In a statement, Al Gergawi confirmed that "the World Economic Forum, since its establishment, has contributed to providing a global dialogue platform for decision-makers and the business world to shape the world in various fields," saying: "We celebrate with him in the land of (Expo Dubai) the strategic partnership and the advanced level of cooperation."
