The news that the high school at Åsa farm school will move to Åsaskolan a stone's throw away made half the teaching staff resign. The municipality of Kungsbacka is now investigating the possibilities of moving the entire upper secondary school to next autumn, instead of phasing it out in stages. - Very positive. I think it would feel very much better to have a workplace instead of splitting between two, says Lars Kjellander, high school teacher at Åsa farm school.
The investigation must be completed before Christmas so that the board can make a decision at the beginning of the year.
If the investigation is approved, the moving load will go to the new school in the autumn of next year.
In the clip above, the high school teacher Lars tells more about how he views the message and the school principal Maria Andersson about why they made the decision to investigate the possibilities.
