November 09, 2021A knife-wielding man attacked passers-by on the streets of the Norwegian capital, Oslo, before being killed by police.

Norwegian media published footage of the alleged attacker, naked from the waist up and holding a knife.

A press conference was called late in the morning.



Police reported that a patrol car in the Bislett neighborhood, north of Oslo, intervened to stop the attacker.

"Several shots" were also fired against the man, who was injured and rushed to a nearby hospital where he died.



"A patrol was close '' to the place of the attack and for this they managed to stop the man. At first the officers tried to run over him when he tried to stab a person '', but" the police car collided with a wall and it was at this juncture that the agents were attacked by the man, '' said Brenden.



Three were injured, including an officer in a minor way.



 Last month a man armed with a bow, arrows and knife killed five people in a small town southwest of Oslo.
