"Insurance pensions in the event of loss of breadwinner and social pensions in the event of loss of breadwinner for children under the age of 18, from January 1, 2023, will be assigned from the date of death of the deceased breadwinner on the basis of information from the Pension Fund of Russia and the unified state registry office," TASS said in department.
The Ministry of Labor clarified that it would not be required to submit an application for the appointment of such pensions.
Earlier, the PFR explained the rules for the payment of pensions to Russians living in the CIS.
