Democratic presidential candidate Lee Jae-myung has canceled all scheduled events for today.



The Democratic Party's Election Countermeasures Committee said, "Lee's wife, Kim Hye-kyung, suffered a fall this morning and was hospitalized at a certain hospital in Gyeonggi-do."



Candidate Lee was scheduled to attend a virtual asset-related meeting today, a luncheon for youth firefighters, and a national women's convention, but due to his wife's sudden accident, he canceled all schedules and decided to focus on nursing.



In particular, the National Women's Congress, which will be held from 3 pm today, will be attended by Candidate Lee Seok-yeol, People's Strength candidate Yoon Seok-yeol, Justice Party candidate Shim Sang-jeong, and People's Party candidate Ahn Cheol-soo. The official face-to-face has been postponed to a later date.



Candidate Seok-Yeol Yun pays a visit to the April 19 Student Revolution Monument at the National April 19 Democracy Cemetery in Suyu-dong, Gangbuk-gu this afternoon.
