In the previous House of Representatives election, the former secretary general of the Liberal Democratic Party, Ishihara, was unable to secure a seat, and the number of members was reduced from 10 before the election to 7.



In response to this, Mr. Ishihara, former chairman of the National Assembly Countermeasures Committee, and other Ishihara faction executives discussed the future management of the faction at a hotel in Tokyo on the night of the 9th.



In this, Mr. Ishihara announced his intention to retire from the faction's chairman, and the member of the Diet will discuss the successor chairman.
