09 November 2021 A young woman drugged and then raped in Bergamo: an archived case that has different affinities with the investigations of the Milan prosecutors on Omar Confalonieri, the real estate agent arrested in Milan for having stunned a couple with benzodiazepines, and then abused the woman .

The traces appear to lead investigators to a serial rapist. For the moment, the Milan prosecutors in charge of the investigation have asked their colleagues in Bergamo for the documents: a case of a few years ago, of a young woman who was drugged and then raped, which was filed because the culprit was not found. Now prosecutors Alessia Menegazzo and Letizia Mannella - holders of the Milanese investigation - will see the papers of the Bergamo prosecutor's office.

Stunned and then raped

Omar Confalonieri, a 48-year-old real estate agent, was arrested two days ago by the Carabinieri on charges of having stunned a couple on 2 October last, with the excuse of an aperitif in a Milanese club, and then abused the woman for several hours. . Not only the proceedings filed in Bergamo, the investigators are reconstructing all the man's contacts to ascertain whether there are other victims, in addition to the one for which he was sentenced in Monza, and to two girls who have already come forward.

The victim's story

In the papers of the investigating judge, the story of the victims: "There was absolutely no mention of the real estate issue that was at the basis of our meeting - explained the woman who suffered violence from the investigators -" we did not open the topic because we had noticed that Confalonieri was very strange and we were very uncomfortable, hoping that that aperitif would end as soon as possible. "The 48-year-old, however, at that moment had already managed - as documented by the images of the surveillance cameras of the restaurant - to inject the drug into the two cocktails with a syringe and stun the couple

Pharmacy receipt

According to the investigation papers, benzodiazepines (drugs with narcotic effects) had been bought by Confalonieri before an aperitif in a pharmacy.

Already arrested for abuse in 2008

As early as 2008, the real estate agent was allegedly arrested for abuse.

Even then, he would have used benzodiazepines on an 18-year-old colleague: convicted in the first instance, he would then have obtained "rehabilitation" from the court after a therapeutic course.
