According to the relevant person in charge of the Sichuan Provincial Center for Disease Control and Prevention, the first case in Chengdu in this round of the epidemic has a history of living in many places in the northwest. After epidemiological investigation and laboratory genetic sequencing, it was from the same source as the domestic northwestern epidemic virus strain.

On the 9th, Dalian City involved 10 adjusted medium-risk areas in Zhuanghe City, Ganjingzi District, and Zhongshan District. Currently, there are 13 medium-risk areas.

On the 8th, there were 8 newly confirmed local cases in Heilongjiang Province, including 7 in Heihe City and 1 in Harbin City.
As of 24:00 on the 8th, Heihe City had reported a total of 247 local confirmed cases during the current round of the epidemic.
As the province with the most local confirmed cases in this round of the epidemic so far, Heilongjiang Province has maintained single-digit new local cases for three consecutive days.
According to information from the Heilongjiang Provincial Working Group of the Joint Prevention and Control Mechanism of the State Council, the development trend of Heihe's current round of epidemic has slowed down significantly, and its rapid development momentum has basically been contained, but the source of the epidemic is still being traced.
The working group stated that there have been new cases in individual rural areas and urban communities where no confirmed cases have been found before, and new cases have also appeared in individual construction sites and driving schools. It does not rule out the possibility that the number of new cases will fluctuate in the future.
