"The Prosecutor's Office of the Vereshchaginsky District of the Perm Territory has organized a check of information published on the Internet in connection with the disappearance of two minor children," the statement on the agency's website says.
It is noted that two boys left their place of residence in the city of Vereshchagino without the knowledge of the adults.
Earlier, Yamal investigators opened two criminal cases in connection with the disappearance of a 14-year-old boy who escaped from the Antipayutinsk boarding school on November 1.
There is still no information about the whereabouts of the minor.
