The city of Metz (Moselle) recently announced that it had lodged a complaint last October 27 after the assault on an employee of a primary school in the courtyard.

She was slapped in front of many children by her ex-partner on October 21.

The latter had been able to enter the premises of the establishment claiming to have to recover keys from his ex-girlfriend.

The municipality's complaint concerns "insulting noises and outrages disturbing the peace of others," says Lorraine Actu.

Caroline Audouy, deputy mayor in charge of extracurricular activities, communicated on the approach of the city of Metz.

This could not relate to acts of "assault and battery".

The blows received by the employee of the canteen of the primary school of Seille had caused a reaction.

The procedure is not finished

After the attack, Unis, an opposition group sitting on Metz city council, submitted a list of measures it considered desirable to combat violence against women.

Elected officials in particular called for the establishment of a commission dedicated to the phenomenon.

With the legal proceedings underway, the police did not provide details on the progress of the investigation.
