Migrants: over 460 landed in Lampedusa

Maxi landing in Lampedusa. Almost 400 migrants arrived in the afternoon at the end of a rescue operation carried out by the Port Authority and the Financial Police after the sighting about 12 miles from the island and concluded on the Favaloro pier after being transferred to the patrol boats. The migrants claimed to be from sub-Saharan nations. Among them there are also 16 women and 14 minors. The hotspot, with the new maxi landing, fills up again. There are 693 guests with a maximum capacity of 250 seats: during the afternoon there were another three landings, for a total of 63 people.
