Faced with the increase in the number of cases of coronavirus in France, the executive has decreed the return of the wearing of masks in schools in 61 departments, including Réunion, Guadeloupe, Martinique and Guyana.

For children, this is not good news.

Teachers fear the closure of classes for cases of Covid-19.

Faced with the threat of the coronavirus which looms, the government is strengthening barrier measures in schools.

November 8 marks the start of the school year but also the return of the wearing of the compulsory mask in 61 departments *.

Areas in which the epidemic is starting again, with "an incidence rate above 50 per 100,000 inhabitants," said Gabriel Attal, the government spokesman.

For the pupils, it is a question of getting back in the bath: for months already before, they wore the mask to go to class.

"Fortunately, in the playground, we remove the mask," he relativized.

The schoolboy's father puts it into perspective.

"There have been cases, so they may be right to put it back anyway," he confided to the microphone of Europe 1. "I told him that if it has to be put back, it has to be done. put it back. He has no choice. It's been almost a year already, so they are getting used to it. But hey ... ".
