Reduction of the validity period of QR codes for vaccinated and recovered from coronavirus infection "is not discussed and not discussed."

This was announced to reporters by the press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov.

“We have not heard anything about this, we have no information.

We know it really has to do with technical work.

You know that the "Gosuslugi" system itself is in a constant process of improvement and expansion of functionality.

This is a very good, positive process, but, unfortunately, sometimes associated with such failures.

Therefore, there is nothing terrible in this, ”said Peskov.

Earlier in the media there was information that some Russians on a single portal of public services have shortened the validity of QR codes on vaccination - from one year to six months, as a result of which some of the codes were “reset”.

After that, the Ministry of Digital Science emphasized that the validity period of QR codes remains the same, and the incident is related to technical work.

“The Ministry of Digital Science and the Ministry of Health of Russia report: QR codes that Russians receive on the State Services portal after being vaccinated against COVID are valid for the entire period,” the ministry said.

"The portal is now operating normally, QR codes are being restored."

Meanwhile, the government of the Kamchatka Territory indicated that since November 8, methodological recommendations have been applied, according to which revaccination should be done in six months, and not 12 months.

At the same time, the regional authorities emphasized that they cannot influence the validity periods of the codes specified in the system.

“On the spot, we cannot make any changes to this system.

That is, it is impossible to somehow influence the validity period of the certificate.

This is not our mandate.

The only thing we can recommend to the population is to undergo revaccination, ”the Kamchatka Ministry of Health said.

We add that on November 8, new rules on the form of a certificate of vaccination against COVID-19 and the transferred disease came into force in Russia.

The corresponding document will be generated on the State Services portal within three days in Russian and English, while it can also be obtained in paper form - for this you need to contact the MFC.

At the same time, similar documents that citizens of the Russian Federation received before this date will be automatically reissued by March 1, 2022.

The following information is placed on two pages of the new certificate form: QR code, personal data of the patient, information about the vaccination (date, drug, place where the injection was given), information on medical contraindications, if any, and data on the transferred COVID-19, if a citizen has had a coronavirus.

Over the past day, 39,400 new cases of coronavirus infection were recorded in Russia, of which 8.7% had no clinical manifestations of the disease.

The largest number of new coronavirus episodes were recorded in Moscow (4982), the Moscow region (3429) and St. Petersburg (2597).

The total number of COVID-19 cases has reached 8,834,495.

Also, over the past 24 hours, 25,582 people have fully recovered.

A total of 7,587,560 people have been discharged since the start of the pandemic.

To date, 248,004 patients have died from complications that developed against the background of COVID-19 and concomitant diseases in Russia, over the last day - 1,190 people.

Rospotrebnadzor reported that more than 213.4 million laboratory tests were carried out in the country for the presence of the virus.

More than 2.1 million people remain under medical supervision.

Also, on Monday, the federal non-working day regime ended in the country, however, due to the worsening epidemiological situation, the authorities of five subjects decided to extend it.

So, in the Novgorod and Tomsk regions, non-working days will be valid until November 14 inclusive, in the Chelyabinsk and Kursk regions - until November 12 inclusive, and in the Smolensk region - until November 10.

At the same time, Moscow has not extended the non-working day regime, but certain measures have been taken to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

In particular, in connection with the establishment of a home regime for elderly Muscovites and people with chronic diseases, the validity of their social cards was suspended, which gives the right to free travel on public transport.

Home regime does not apply to Muscovites who have had COVID-19 over the past six months or have been vaccinated.

At the same time, at mass events with the simultaneous presence of more than 500 people, the mandatory use of QR codes and protective masks is introduced.

These two measures also affect the capital's theaters and museums, their occupancy should not exceed 70% of the total capacity of the hall.

Speaking about the results of the non-working days regime, the Kremlin spokesman noted that it is too early to draw a conclusion about the effectiveness of this period.

“It will be understood just somewhere in a week - a real conclusion,” said Dmitry Peskov.

Referring to the words of Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, he pointed out that the epidemiological situation in the Moscow region is stabilizing, which gave grounds for the non-working day regime not to be extended: “But the full effect can still be realized in the longer term”.

Vaccination against COVID-19

Director of the Gamaleya National Research Center for Epidemiology and Microbiology, Alexander Gintsburg, in an interview with Izvestia, said that full protection from the delta coronavirus strain is required from 300 neutralizing antibodies.

According to him, this result was obtained as a result of a study conducted jointly with the Moscow Department of Health.

“We found that 300 antibodies (international units) completely protect against Delta.

If less, then you need to be vaccinated with Sputnik Light.

If as a result of vaccination with "Light" you received 350-400, then you can be vaccinated with the second component of "Sputnik".

If you have 500 units or more, then this is ideal for protecting against COVID-19 infection, ”he said.

Gunzburg, assessing the restrictive measures in the country, indicated that they should be combined with a sharp increase in the number of vaccinated.

“Sergei Sobyanin said that in the past 10 days the number of vaccinated people has quadrupled (per day).

And it should increase 10 times.

In this case, according to my rough calculations, it will be possible to overcome this infection in a few months, ”he said.

The director of the Gamaleya Center also called for the distinction between people with QR codes and the unvaccinated, stressing that those with more than 300 antibodies can be practically unlimited.

At the moment, herd immunity in Russia is 48%.

Thus, 60,004,358 people were vaccinated with the first component, and 57,256,745 Russians completed the full course.

In addition, Deputy Director for Clinical and Analytical Work of the Central Research Institute of Epidemiology of Rospotrebnadzor, Professor Natalya Pshenichnaya spoke about the change in the symptoms of COVID-19, which have become more and more similar to SARS and influenza.

“The vast majority of patients report a runny nose, sore throat, but loss of smell and taste have faded into the background.

In 30-50% of cases at the onset of the disease, diarrhea and other problems from the gastrointestinal tract began to occur, "RIA Novosti quotes her.
