The shock was frontal and violent.

A dramatic road accident occurred this Sunday afternoon around 3 p.m. in the town of Bédée west of Rennes, we learned from the firefighters.

For an as yet undetermined reason, two vehicles collided at a place called Tournebride, at the intersection of departmental roads 28 and 72. Cardiopulmonary arrest on arrival of the emergency services, a young woman of 25, who was alone in her car, could not be resuscitated and died in the collision.

The driver of the other vehicle was slightly injured and transported in a relative emergency to the CHU Pontchaillou in Rennes.

An investigation, entrusted to the Montfort-sur-Meu gendarmerie was opened to determine the circumstances of the accident.
