The floods that fell on the Emirate of Fujairah the day before yesterday, caused the death of the citizen (S.R. - 65 years old) from the Sidr Valley region, after he was swept away by the waters of the Sidr Valley while crossing it.

Fujairah police were able to find him and retrieve his body from the Al Hillah area, confirming that the deceased during the rain was on his farm, and when they were to get out of it, the water of the valley was cut during its flow, so it swept it strongly, due to the strength of its impulse at the moment, and then his body settled in the Al Hillah area in Fujairah.

The eastern region witnessed heavy rains, which resulted in the flow of Wadi al-Sidr, which caused damage to a number of farms and citizen farms.

Fujairah Police appealed to the public to take precautions and caution during the rain, and to abide by the calls and warnings issued by the Ministry of Interior in general, and the security authorities in the emirate in particular, about staying away from places where valleys flow and dangerous and rugged mountainous areas during heavy rain, in order to preserve the lives of road users.
