Tesla CEO Elon Musk has launched a survey on Twitter about whether to sell 10% of his Tesla stock for cash.

Musk said in a tweet on the 6th local time, "Recently, there has been a lot of discussion about unrealized profits being a means of avoiding taxes. So, I propose to sell 10% of my Tesla stock."

Attached to this post was a questionnaire asking if he supported Musk's sale of his Tesla stock.

"I will follow the results of the survey no matter what the conclusion is," Musk added.

It is said that the decision of whether to sell the stake is entirely up to the judgment of the followers and netizens who have reached 62.55 million.

About 917,000 people participated in the survey within about two hours of its inception, and so far, 54.6% of Musk's support for the sale of some of Tesla's shares and 45.4% of them oppose it.

This survey will run for 24 hours.
