A tribute to the bridge and the Avignon festival

He published on all his social networks an impressive photo of the city of the popes seen from space.

"From here it looks like a giant eye drawn by the historic center of the city," writes Thomas Pesquet, followed by 2.7 million subscribers on Facebook, 2.4 million on Instagram and 1.3 million on Twitter.

“Avignon, you will find a famous bridge there, but be careful, I warn you: it is not whole and will not take you to the other side of the shore!

It's a cut bridge in fact.

There is also a very good and famous theater festival, everyone should go and check it out, ”adds the astronaut in his caption in English.

A very nice way to showcase the city.
