Earlier, the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia for the Astrakhan region announced a reward of 100 thousand rubles for assistance in the search and capture of Basayev's gang member Magomed Alkhanov, who escaped from a mental hospital in Astrakhan.
Later, Magomed Alkhanov, a member of Shamil Basayev's gang, caught in Astrakhan, was placed in a pre-trial detention center.
