As noted, Saudi Arabia is asking to sell 280 missiles, about 600 rail launch bases and auxiliary equipment.

Earlier, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that the United States offered Ankara to purchase F-16 fighters after it was excluded from the F-35 fighter program.

Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar announced the start of the fighter procurement procedure.
