President Moon Jae-in, who is on a state visit to Hungary, held talks with the heads of four countries in Visegrad, a regional consultative body in Eastern Europe.

Various economic cooperation plans, such as nuclear power plants, were discussed with these countries, the largest exporters in Europe.

President Moon Jae-in met with the heads of four countries in Visegrad in one place.



The four Visegrad countries consisting of Hungary, Slovakia, Poland, and the Czech Republic are the second largest trading partners in the European Union and the largest investment destination for over 650 Korean companies to enter.



At this meeting, we also focused on economic cooperation measures, especially in areas such as new industries such as batteries, which are expected to generate great synergy between Korea and Visegrad, nuclear power plants, new airports, and defense industry.

After meeting with the Hungarian President and Prime Minister yesterday (4th), President Moon also held separate summits with the heads of Slovakia, Poland and the Czech Republic, focusing on economic diplomacy.



After a state visit to Hungary, President Moon returns home today (5th) after completing a 9-day, 7-night tour to three European countries.
