Portuguese President Dissolves Parliament and Set Date for New Parliamentary Elections

“I decided to dissolve the Assembly of the Republic and call elections on January 30,” RIA Novosti quoted the president as saying.

It is clarified that the Portuguese parliament on October 27 voted against the draft budget for 2022, which was the reason for the decision to dissolve it.
