Two days have passed since two men died at the Uppsala concert and congress in connection with a music event.

Erik Pelling (S) regrets the incident which he describes as "extremely tragic".

Several people that SVT has been in contact with point out the fall height from the sixth floor to the entrance level as both frightening and risky.

A former employee says that it was "only a matter of time" before something happened around the railings on the sixth floor.

What do you think about it?

- This is the case with many buildings, the essential thing is that it should be safe there and then we look at taking different measures.

Then people can still think it's high, he says.

"Professionals should make suggestions"

Erik Pelling (S) believes that the incident raises the issue of camera surveillance in UKK, someone who has previously been up for discussion.

In other respects, he does not want to comment on what measures may be relevant in the longer term, but refers to the security investigation carried out by UKK and the real estate company Uppsala kommun arenar och fastigheter AB, as well as the police's investigation work.

- Professionals should make recommendations about what we should do in the future.

Our responsibility is to ensure that investigations are carried out and to take action as soon as possible based on the results that are arrived at.
