"Danchenko was released from custody in the United States and left the courthouse, which has appointed him bail and other restrictive conditions for the period of consideration of charges of perjury to the FBI," the agency said.

Earlier it became known that Danchenko faces up to 25 years in prison in the case of giving false testimony to the FBI.

He is suspected of illegally collecting information for the so-called dossier on former US President Donald Trump, published in 2017 and indicating his ties to Russia.
