During October, two shootings took place in Eskilstuna.
One happened near a school in Fröslunda and a man was seriously injured.
The second shooting took place in Råbergstorp and two men were later arrested on suspicion of crime.
In both cases, the police are investigating attempted murder.
"Increased presence throughout Eskilstuna"
Following the incidents, the police have now begun a reinforced operation in Eskilstuna.
This includes police from the entire county and according to the municipal police, they do not only target the vulnerable areas.
- We have an increased presence throughout Eskilstuna, she says.
The purpose of the effort is to prevent future serious crimes.
