According to the survey, which included interviews with 3,206 participants between August 18 and September 14, from the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan and Iraq, more than half of professionals working in the Middle East and North Africa believe that “remote work will increase.” After controlling the (Covid-19) epidemic,” while only 16% of workers in the Middle East and North Africa confirmed that workplaces will return to what they were before the epidemic.

53% of the respondents stated that one of the biggest advantages of working remotely is the time that was wasted in daily commuting, and 52% said: “Working in a comfortable work area was an advantage of working remotely”, while 41% stated that the time they spend with Family and friends are among the most prominent reasons for their preference for remote work, in addition to 39% confirming that remote work reduces absenteeism.

According to the survey conducted by the “Beat” website, more than four out of 10 employees (41%) in the Middle East and North Africa said: “Recurring technical errors were one of the most common challenges associated with remote work,” while 36% of the participants affirmed, They find it difficult to separate work and personal life while working remotely.
