China News Service, November 4, reported that the Los Angeles Mayor’s Office announced in a statement on the 3rd local time that Mayor Eric Garcetti tested positive for the new crown virus.

According to reports, Jasiti is participating with other world leaders in the 2021 United Nations Climate Change Conference in Glasgow, UK.
A statement posted by his office on social media Twitter stated that Jasiti received the first dose of the vaccine in January and is now fully vaccinated. He is currently "isolated in a hotel room and is in good health."
Jasiti is not the first person in his family to be infected with the new crown.
In December 2020, his daughter tested positive for the new coronavirus.
At the climate summit, Jasiti served as the chairman of C40, a group of nearly 100 mayors from all over the world, aiming to find solutions to climate change.
Jasiti was originally scheduled to host a panel meeting on the 3rd to discuss the impact of international funding support on climate action at the city level.
