November 03, 2021The Boeing 767-300ER, owned by billionaire Roman Abramovich, is up for sale.

This was reported by Forbes, citing two sources from the aviation market.

The sale is handled by Global Jet Monaco SAM.

According to the newspaper, the plane cost Abramovich $ 315 million and now costs about $ 100 million.

A spokesman for the tycoon did not comment on the affair.

The Boeing seats up to 34 passengers and features a reading room, three guest bedrooms, a dining room and a living room.

The aircraft has been in use since 2007.

According to the director of BizavNews, Dmitry Petrochenko, the Boeing flew 7080 hours and completed 1954 cycles (take-off and landing), which is "negligible for such a craft".

However, it will be difficult to sell it quickly, as "wealthier businessmen want to fly an aircraft with a custom-made interior that would be different from others," Petrochenko said.

Aerial photography fans call Abramovich's Boeing "Bandit" because of the black stripe near the cockpit, reminiscent of dark glasses, Forbes notes.
