“Sachkov told us that he ran out of vital medications that he was taking due to a chronic illness.

There are no such medicines in the medical unit of the pre-trial detention center.

An urgent telegram from the mother with a request to transfer the necessary pills to the isolation ward was seized by the censor and not delivered to the addressee, ”said the human rights activist.

He also said that the medical unit refused to prescribe a diet to Sachkov due to his illness, referring to the lack of medical documents.

“He hopes that the lawyers will hand over these documents in the near future, but he cannot speed up this process - all his correspondence is seized by the censorship,” Khuruji said.

The POC member clarified that the censorship also seized the book "Quiet Don" by Sholokhov, which his brother had sent to Sachkov.

Contrary to the recommendations of the POC members, the arrested person did not replace the old mattress and pillow, added the interlocutor of RT.

Khuruji also said that Sachkov is still sitting alone in a double cell: he began to receive two daily newspapers and asks his relatives to subscribe to as many publications as possible "with scientific, technical and public information."

Earlier, the arrested person's lawyer Dmitry Dikhtyar said that Sachkov denied the charge of treason brought against him.

On September 29, the Lefortovo Court of Moscow arrested for two months the founder of Group-IB, Ilya Sachkov, who is suspected of high treason.
