“President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko sent his condolences to the family and friends of the crew of the transport aircraft AN-12 of the Grodno airline,” RIA Novosti quoted the press service of the Belarusian head of state with.

It is noted that on behalf of the Belarusian people and on his own behalf, Lukashenka expressed sincere words of condolence and support to the families of the deceased crew members in connection with the grievous, irreparable loss. 

Earlier, the Investigative Committee of Belarus began an investigation into the crash in the Irkutsk region of the An-12 aircraft of the Grodno Airlines.

According to the Belarusian Ministry of Transport, there were two Russians, two Ukrainians and three Belarusians on the plane.
