Everyone - or almost everyone - wants to become a homeowner.

A project that depends of course on its heritage, but above all on the location of the research.

This ultimately allows us to answer the question: "How long will I have to work to buy my home?"

".

In this game, the world's metropolises logically have the worst ratios, as a recent UBS report illustrated in this infographic from our partner Statista shows.

To establish the working time needed to repay the loan, this report is based on 60 m2 apartments close to the city center, and considers the person to be a highly qualified employee in the service sector.

Paris on the podium

So to have his (small) home, it is in Hong Kong that it will be the most complicated: you had to work fifteen years to afford an apartment in 2011, a period of twenty years now.

Then follow Paris (fifteen years in 2011, seventeen today) and London (ten years become fourteen).

Better to aim for Geneva, New York or Munich to draw a line on your loan a little faster.
