As Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said during the opening of the endoscopy center of the Buyanov City Clinical Hospital, the situation with the pandemic and the dynamics of COVID-19 diseases have stabilized.

“This also applies to the detection of diseases and hospitalization of patients with a severe form.

This allows us to conclude that non-working days will not be extended from Monday.

We are starting to work as usual, ”said the mayor.

At the same time, the capital's mayor called on the townspeople to comply with sanitary standards, despite the end of non-working days.

He also recalled that from November 8, Moscow is introducing a system for presenting a QR code to enter theaters and museums.

“In general, of course, the task is to further protect yourself and your loved ones - you need to be vaccinated.

Vaccination stations work everywhere.

Despite the fact that the number of applicants has increased significantly, the availability of this service in Moscow is good.

If necessary, we can always increase additional vaccination points, "Sobyanin emphasized.

Moscow ranks first in Russia in the number of detected cases of COVID-19 since the beginning of the pandemic - 1,837,057 (6,827 in the last 24 hours), while 1,611,911 patients (6,628) have recovered.

Over the past day, 31,631 people died from complications that developed against the background of COVID-19 and concomitant diseases (95).

Recall that in Moscow from October 28 to November 7, inclusive, the work of most organizations was suspended, except for those that ensure the operation of infrastructure, continuous-cycle companies, as well as a number of federal institutions.

In the city, the work of non-food stores, cinemas, gyms, the provision of state services in the centers "My Documents" and the premises of the authorities have been stopped.

In addition, it is prohibited to hold mass cultural, entertainment, sports, advertising, entertainment and other events, vacations have been announced in schools and kindergartens.

At the same time, the work of pharmacies, grocery stores and remote services was not stopped in the capital.

Also, theaters and museums operate with the condition of 50% occupancy of the hall and the use of QR codes.

The Governor of the Moscow Region Andrei Vorobyov also announced the gradual stabilization of the epidemiological situation in the region, therefore, they will not extend long non-working days in the Moscow Region.

“The situation with covid in the Moscow region is gradually stabilizing - thanks to our doctors, all residents who were vaccinated, they try to limit contacts and take care of the health of loved ones.

All this gives us the opportunity to resume the work of cafes, restaurants, entertainment centers, the service sector, as well as full-time education in schools from November 8, ”he wrote in his Telegram channel.

Meanwhile, the Moscow Region authorities are asking employers in the region to leave at least 30% of the staff at a distance, as well as to maintain a remote mode for all employees over 60 years old.

“And for those who have not yet been vaccinated, we highly recommend taking the time to visit the nearest vaccination point.

As the Governor of the Moscow Region pointed out, from November 8, organizations and individual entrepreneurs have the right to make a decision to visit them only by persons who have a special QR code.

At the same time, employers are obliged to ensure that employees are vaccinated up to 80%.

Also, the region maintains a mandatory mask regime.

“It is allowed to hold sports, physical culture, leisure, entertainment, entertainment, exhibition, educational, advertising and other similar events only if all spectators have a special QR code + mask (respirator),” he stressed.

If some spectators do not have a special QR code, the following restrictions apply: 50 people simultaneously when holding events in buildings, structures, structures (premises in them), 500 people simultaneously when holding events in the open air.

When holding events in cultural and educational organizations, this restriction does not apply.

Also, the press service of the Ministry of Health of the Moscow Region reported that more than 4 million residents have already been vaccinated against COVID-19.

At the same time, during the period of restrictive measures, more than 300 vaccination points continue to work, the Ministry of Health said.

“The incidence of new coronavirus infection in the region remains high, as does hospitalization.

Of the nearly 12 thousand beds in infectious diseases hospitals, 10.3 thousand are occupied, ”added Minister of Health of the Moscow Region Svetlana Strigunkova. 

In the Moscow region, a total of 526 996 cases of coronavirus were detected (2744 - over the past 24 hours), 456 621 people recovered (3056), 8908 patients died (53).
