The UAE Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai launches a video clip to celebrate the diversity of the "home of dream and achievement" (video)
The United Arab Emirates Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai today launched a video clip celebrating the diversity, ambition and traditions of the UAE.
The clip, titled “The Home of Dreams and Achievements,” describes the path the UAE has taken for dreamers over the past fifty years, and highlights the ambition it holds to continue to thrive in the future.
The video also reflects the common roots that unite all those who call the UAE their home, and includes a large group of accomplished dreamers who contributed to the journey home.
The film was directed by Ray Haddad, who was born in Abu Dhabi, resides in the United States and won many awards, to reflect his view of the time he lived in the UAE.
Commenting on his participation in this work, Ray Haddad said, "I grew up in the Emirates, and I have always dreamed of showing the spirit of authenticity that distinguishes this country and its people."
He added, "There is a reduced image in my sentimental for the UAE, as I imagine her as a humble mother in the prime of her youth, and thanks to her firm values and hospitable environment, she has become an incubator for people of all shades around the world."
The UAE pavilion stems from the slogan "The Home of Dreams and Achievements", through which it tells a variety of stories that focus on the human being, and that represent the culture, heritage and values of the UAE, and the unique features that made it a home that welcomes with love and welcome people belonging to more than 200 nationalities.
The dreamers who live and work together on the land of the Emirates embody the spirit of the state, and preserve its legacy, which was formulated by the first accomplished dreamers, the late founding father Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, "may God rest his soul."
The slogan "Achievable Dreamers" is a realistic representation of the level reached by the United Arab Emirates, a description that applies to those people who show every day their sense of ambition and strong determination to achieve success, and are keen to embody values, and show the distinctive aspects of the UAE's past, present and future.
From pioneering innovators in all fields, to creative minds and influential people in society, the UAE’s dreamers in the past and present are sources of inspiration for future generations, and a source of motivation for future dreamers, encouraging them to continue their endeavors to achieve their ambitions.
