Yulia Ivanova, a representative of the State Investigative Committee of the Investigative Committee for Moscow, told TASS about this.
“During the interrogation, the man told the investigation that the motive for the murder was a monetary debt that the defendant could not return to the family of the deceased,” she said.
It is noted that the suspect is a 60-year-old resident of Podolsk, an acquaintance of Novoseltsev's daughter.
According to the agency, the man owes more than 6 million rubles.
At the end of October, Novoseltsev's body was found in a bathhouse in New Moscow.
