The first beer spa will be launched in December in France, more precisely in Strasbourg.

Guest of "Europe Matin", Naomie Crawshaw, co-founder of the establishment, details this concept straight from the Czech Republic.

A unique experience that can be experienced halfway in the hand.

INTERVIEW

It is "the meeting between two worlds": relaxation and the brewing world.

With her companion Paul Fruh, Naomie Crawshaw opened the first beer spa in France at the beginning of December, a concept straight from the Czech Republic.

"Imagine yourself in a very spacious two-meter-long wooden tub. Inside you find 37-degree water, mixed with all the ingredients for beer."

Relax in brewer's yeast

"We do not bathe strictly speaking in beer, but in the components of the latter. Otherwise, it would not be very good for the skin," she adds to the microphone of Europe 1. But future customers of the Taaka Beer Spa, which will open rue Marbach in Strasbourg, will still be able to relax in "malt, hops and brewer's yeast".

Ingredients that have "a lot of benefits: brewer's yeast helps hair growth and better skin, hops help relax, and malt is an antioxidant."

Pullers next to bathtubs

There is therefore no risk of having your head spinning when going to relax in this spa, unique in France, even while drinking a cup.

But hop lovers can rest assured, beer taps are installed around the establishment's four baths.

Since we "do good to the body, so much to do the same with the head", slips Naomie Crawshaw, a smile in her voice.

Be careful, however, the spa will not turn into an open bar: the dispensers will become blocked after delivering a certain quantity of beer.
