“16 of 33 planes have taken off, registration is in progress for three more flights,” RIA Novosti quoted the press service of the airport as saying.
Earlier it was reported that the airport in Nizhny Novgorod received 33 planes of nine airlines heading to Moscow, but forced to change the route due to bad weather.
Earlier, the governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region, Gleb Nikitin, said that about 1.5 thousand people are currently staying at the airport in Nizhny Novgorod, where dozens of planes arrived because of the fog in Moscow.
