“As part of his participation in the UN Climate Change Conference COP26 in Glasgow, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau ... During the meeting, the President invited the Canadian Prime Minister to visit Ukraine,” the Office's press service said in a statement the president of the country.

Zelensky expressed hope for strengthening economic cooperation between states and expanding the free trade agreement between Ukraine and Canada.

The parties also discussed the issues of simplifying the trips of Ukrainians to Canada, the energy crisis and ways to combat it. 

In July, the European Union included Ukraine in the list of countries whose citizens can visit the EU without restrictions.
