The Municipal Police of Madrid has evicted this morning, around 00:30, more than a hundred minors in

a nightclub located on Santa Hortensia street in the Madrid district of Chamartín

where a Halloween party was being held.

It was the second consecutive night that the El Elefante Blanco room committed the same offense, since last Saturday they already found 60 minors consuming alcohol in the same venue.

The young people

had paid 15 euros for two drinks

and declared that they had the guarantee of being able to access the room despite being minors, since they were not asked for their card at the entrance. The agents also investigate whether the room exceeded the stipulated capacity.

When the agents broke into the nightclub, there were

dozens of minors drinking and dancing,

most of them dressed up for Halloween night. "They are very young, you can see them in their faces," said an agent. Several of them tried to exit through a side door without success. They were between 14 and 17 years old and came from Pozuelo and the Madrid districts of Aravaca, Moncloa, Salamanca and Chamartín. The presence of the Municipal Police Security Units was necessary to proceed with the eviction of the room after verifying the age of the minors.

Once inside the nightclub, the agents ordered the music to be turned off and the attendees, most of them minors, were asked for their cards, so they were evicted outside.

Some of the minors were considered scammed

, as they were told that the money for the tickets would not be returned.

"This is a fraud, we have paid and now it turns out that they tell us that we are running out of money and without a party," commented one of the boys, residents of Aravaca.

Ana, another under 15 years old, pointed out that she had paid 15 euros with a 50 bill and that

they had not even turned it around when the room ran out of change

.

"I am demanding the money, but nobody pays attention to me, they tell me they have too much trouble."

Those responsible for the nightclub

alleged that they did not know the age of the customers

and were perplexed when the agents warned them of the infraction that this entailed.

The agents of the Municipal Police Minor Protection Unit also went to the room to help verify the age of the young people and notify their parents.

Many of the parents of the minors came to the room at dawn to pick up their children.

"

Sir, did you know that your youngest son was coming to a party

?" A policeman asked one of the parents.

"As I looked, he told me that everything was in order and as a lot of friends came, I thought nothing was going to happen," said this man.

The Municipal Police, which last night intensified its routine work of premises on the occasion of Halloween night, raised the corresponding act applying the Law of Public Shows.

In addition, the policemen

had to assist one of the minors for alcohol poisoning

, who was then treated by the SAMUR-Civil Protection.

Throughout the night the agents also sanctioned two other nightclubs on Maqueda Street in Aluche.

In one of them there was

an overcapacity of more than a hundred people

so it was necessary to empty the room.

In an attached nightclub the agents found the emergency doors blocked and minors inside.

Also in another nightclub on the street of Ramón Luján de Usera, the Municipal Police found that the venue was open despite being sealed for other previous infractions.

In total, the Municipal Police of Madrid carried out 170 inspections yesterday in nightclubs and entertainment venues in the capital.
