The Novgorod region became the first region in Russia to announce the extension of non-working days after November 7.

The regime has been extended until November 14 inclusive.

“We will extend the non-working days with payroll for one more week.

The next week will be in full.

This week we will tighten the requirements for the work of various kinds of organizations, a number of organizations will be closed, ”said the Governor of the region Andrei Nikitin.

At the same time, retail outlets and establishments that ignore the QR code system may be closed for the entire period of non-working days.

“If in a store, in a cafe, at some facility, sanitary protection measures are fully observed and there are no administrative penalties, then it can continue to work in the same mode using QR codes.

If this institution is caught ignoring the requirements for admission of employees or visitors without QR codes, then it will have completely non-working days, ”the head of the Novgorod region explained.

His words are quoted by TASS.

Recall that on October 20, Vladimir Putin signed a decree establishing non-working days in Russia from October 30 to November 7 with the preservation of wages.

At the same time, the heads of the regions are allowed, at their discretion, to make decisions on the early introduction or extension of this regime, taking into account the current situation on the ground.

"The main thing now is to reduce the incidence rate"

The situation with the spread of coronavirus infection remains very difficult.

This was announced by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin during a meeting of the Presidium of the Coordination Council under the Government to combat the spread of COVID-19.

“The main thing now is to reduce the incidence rate, to level the burden on our healthcare system so that all patients can continue to receive the necessary medical care,” Mishustin said.

He also said that the Cabinet of Ministers sent almost 11 billion rubles as additional funding for the purchase of medicines for the sick.

This will provide drugs for about 2 million people.

In addition, more than 5 billion rubles were allocated for the purchase of high-performance oxygen concentrators, and about half a billion rubles for medical oxygen manufacturers for the purchase of new equipment.

“The President instructed to increase the rate of vaccination against coronavirus throughout the country, to provide opportunities for re-vaccination.

For this purpose, the work of vaccination centers has been organized so that it would be possible to contact them even now - during non-working days.

We talked about this at the last meeting of the coordinating council.

Moreover, the whole process of vaccination should be convenient and safe, without crowds, "- explained the head of the Cabinet.

In turn, Minister of Health Mikhail Murashko said that at the moment, 1.376 million patients with COVID-19 are under the supervision of doctors.

According to him, there are 3.6 thousand fewer such patients than a day earlier.

“I would like to note that it was the period of additional days off and restrictive measures that influenced the situation.

And this gives us hope that the burden on the health care system will begin to decrease.

Therefore, the regime of non-working days announced by the president, we believe, today is the most effective in an acute situation and in fact gives a second wind to the regions, ”the minister emphasized.

Speaking about vaccinations, he noted that in Russia more than 650 thousand people are vaccinated against COVID-19 per day - this figure does not cause any difficulties for the health care system.

Murashko added that more than 58.5 million Russians have already been vaccinated with the first component of the vaccines.

“We see, and the governors also note that in those areas where more than 60-70% of the adult population were vaccinated, in fact, the burden on the health care system becomes minimal compared to those areas where these figures have not yet been achieved,” the head of the Ministry of Health said.

The increase in the incidence of coronavirus remains in 78 constituent entities of the Russian Federation, stabilization is observed in five, while a decrease in the incidence is recorded in two constituent entities of the Russian Federation.

This was stated by the country's chief sanitary doctor Anna Popova.

“Despite the fact that the growth rate has slowed down, the base is so great that it is certainly too early to talk about the stabilization of the process,” she said.

The head of Rospotrebnadzor also urged citizens not to postpone a visit to a doctor during non-working days, since a delay in the provision of medical care can lead to complications.

“I would also like to draw your attention to the fact that the effect of the measures already taken will not come immediately, this requires time, at least one incubation, most likely, it will take more time,” she added, referring to the period of non-working days in Russia ...

Earlier, Anna Popova, in an interview with Naila Asker-zade on the Russia 24 TV channel, noted that among those fully vaccinated with coronavirus, from 2 to 5% fall ill, which is "a very good indicator for a vaccine."

The head of Rospotrebnadzor stressed that those who made both injections practically do not get severe coronavirus: “This is very important.

Vaccines protect against severe illness and sad outcomes. "

The question, so I asked personally, what happened?

We missed the moment, did not start the revaccination on time.

You have to keep this in mind, ”Putin explained.
