China News Service, Beijing, October 31. A reporter learned from China's National Development and Reform Commission on the 31st that in response to the tight diesel supply in certain areas of China, the state organized oil companies to increase supply, and it has effectively alleviated the tight diesel supply.

According to reports, since September, due to the continuous rise of oil prices in the international market and the traditional peak consumption season in China, the supply of diesel resources in certain areas has been tight. The National Development and Reform Commission and the National Energy Administration have organized and coordinated the two major oil companies, PetroChina and Sinopec, to take measures to increase finished products. Oil supply.

Among them, PetroChina has done everything possible to increase its diesel market launch by increasing crude oil imports, increasing the load of refineries, adjusting product structure, stopping refined oil exports, and tapping the potential to reduce inventories.

Ren Lixin, deputy general manager of China National Petroleum Corporation, said that in October, PetroChina's imported crude oil increased by 10% year-on-year, and diesel supply increased by 23% year-on-year, and 28.6% from the third quarter.

The next step will be to strengthen the organization of crude oil imports, further optimize and adjust the product structure, and continue to increase the introduction of diesel in the domestic market.

Sinopec's oil refinery has started operations at full capacity and has made every effort to increase diesel supply by adjusting production processes and other means.

The supply of diesel in September and October increased by nearly 20% month-on-month for two consecutive months. The supply in November and December is expected to increase by nearly 50% compared to the average supply from January to August.

Ling Yiqun, deputy general manager of Sinopec Group Corporation, said that its sales links give priority to retail, people's livelihood, and end users, and increase resource allocation in areas with tight supply and demand to ensure that gas stations are not out of stock and continue to supply.

At present, Sinopec gas stations are fully open for sales.

At present, the tight supply and demand of diesel in individual regions is short-term, and the situation is expected to improve soon.
