01 November 2021 High water was expected in Venice, so the Mose gates were raised in all the lagoon inlets.
The canals at the inlets will be reopened from 1am this night onwards.
In fact, forecasts announce a tide level of about 130 cm.
However, conditions remain favorable to the phenomenon of high water until Friday.
First the barrier of Treporti was raised in the lagoon, then that of Lido San Nicolò and then the others: Malamocco and Chioggia.
Still concern for high water also for tomorrow, Wednesday, the day when a peak of 140 centimeters is expected at 10pm.
