A Saudi prince proposes a "simple solution" to resolve the diplomatic crisis with Lebanon

The Saudi Prince, Sattam bin Khalid Al Saud, commented on the diplomatic crisis between a number of Gulf countries and Lebanon, following the statements of the Lebanese Minister of Information, George Qardahi, about the Yemen war.

And the prince published a tweet in which he presented a “simple solution,” as he published, calling on the political leadership in Lebanon to be a weapon in the hands of the state and not in the hands of parties that impose their agendas, and for Lebanon to distance itself from what is happening in the region of political strife, especially the hateful Arab countries to return to what it was during the presence of the martyr Rafiq Hariri is a safe haven for tourism and investment.

He added that it is unnatural and illogical for Gulf investments to return to Lebanon in the face of public statements by political and party figures who are hostile to the Gulf and support terrorist militias in Yemen with weapons, training and drug smuggling in an organized manner.

The government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia summoned its ambassador to Lebanon, last Friday, for consultations, and the departure of the Lebanese ambassador to Saudi Arabia within 48 hours. The Saudi government also decided to stop all Lebanese imports to the Kingdom, and a number of other measures will be taken to achieve these goals.
