At least 12 people were killed and 52 injured in a series of mass shootings in the United States over the weekend on Halloween, CNN reported.



CNN reported that these results were obtained as a result of collecting local news, police announcements, etc.



Classification of shootings in which four or more people were killed or wounded as massacres would result in at least 11 cases across the United States on weekends alone.



In Illinois, two people were killed and more than a dozen were injured in a shooting at a party held at a family home on Halloween.



In Sacramento, California, two people were killed and five others were injured in a shooting at a party on Saturday 30th of last month.



According to the Gun Violence Archive, there have been 599 mass shootings in the United States this year.
