Each selected project addresses one of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals, including eradicating poverty, improving the quality of education, improving access to adequate job opportunities, economic development, promoting clean and affordable energy, and tackling climate change.

The projects are looking at providing inclusive and sustainable services by improving access to basic services, such as clean water, sanitation, waste management, and electricity in challenging environments, such as communities affected by disasters and emergencies.

All of these solutions can be adopted, replicated, and the framework of their application changed in various societies of the world, which is an essential feature of these programs.
