Yemeni legitimate forces thwart Houthi infiltration attempts in Marib

The areas surrounding the Umm Rish camp, south of Marib, witnessed the most violent battles between the tribes and the Yemeni army forces on the one hand, and the Houthi militia on the other, after the latter attempted to advance towards the camp to control it and move closer to the Balk mountain range on the southwestern border of Marib.

Field sources stated that the Yemeni legitimate forces repelled the Houthi militia's repeated attacks during the past few hours towards the camp, and inflicted great losses on it, as a result of the air raids of the coalition fighters, which forced the Houthis to retreat towards the Ma'aa front.

The tribes and the Yemeni army, with the support of the coalition fighters, had thwarted the militia’s attempt to advance towards the Al-Amoud and Ya’ara areas in Al-Juba, inflicting great losses on them and forcing them to retreat towards the Jarash area, which is witnessing violent battles between the two sides, and also thwarted another Houthi attack towards Jabal Barq, which is located to the west of Um Camp. feathers.

The sources reported that the Houthi operation towards the Umm Reesh camp came after the failure of their first attempt to advance towards Al-Balaq from the Al-Juba-Jarsha Al-Amoud axis, and it sent reinforcements to the Al-Rada area in the vicinity of the camp, but it was targeted and destroyed by the coalition fighters.

She explained that the Houthis opened three main fronts towards Al-Balaq, the first from the direction of Wadi Dhanna - from the Banu Dabyan side, Sanaa - and the second, from the Juba - Al-Jarsha side, and the third from the Mala'a Harib side - Al-Rada, but it failed as a result of the intervention of the coalition fighters, while the tribes failed an attempt The Houthis infiltrated at dawn today, towards Bajah Jabal al-Sahl in the Khathlah area in order to reach the Al-Sawad Mountains on the Balk area, and the tribes imposed their fiery control on the asphalt road between Al-Amoud and Yarah, in Al-Juba.

Since the dawn of this day, violent battles have been carried out in several areas between the district of Al-Juba, which is located near the Balk Mountains, and reached the starboard of the village of Al-Athlan, located between Yala and Al-Khathlah in the Jawalmalah desert of the Jabal Murad district.

The recent operations in the south and west of Marib, led to the killing of 22 Houthis, including three senior field commanders: Major General Adnan al-Ghaili, Colonel Hilal al-Qahumi, and Captain al-Matari, as well as the capture of 16 others, and the spoils of five vehicles and a quantity of weapons.

In Al-Jawf, field sources confirmed the renewed fighting between the two sides at the Al-Jawf junction separating three governorates, Al-Jawf, Marib and Sana'a, and located on the outskirts of the northwestern fronts, to which the militias recently pushed with huge reinforcements as part of the continuous mobilization to storm the city of Marib.

In Shabwa, local sources confirmed that the Islah forces handed over Aqabat al-Tufail in the Markha district to the Houthi militia, as part of its efforts to hand it over the fourth district in the governorate represented by the district of Markha, after it was handed over to the districts of Bayhan, Usaylan and Ain.

In Hodeidah, the joint forces thwarted a new infiltration attempt by the Houthis towards the Kilo 16 area, east of the city of Hodeidah, the center of the governorate, and inflicted heavy losses on their members, while the militias continued to bombard the city's notables and farms in Al-Tuhayta and Hays.

Sources in the joint confirmed that the largest infiltration attempt by Houthi elements in the Durayhimi sector, south of the governorate, was thwarted, and incurred heavy losses.
