According to RIA Novosti, the newspaper said that "White House cybersecurity adviser Anne Nyberger participated in a series of unannounced virtual meetings with her Kremlin counterpart."

As the newspaper notes, a few weeks ago, after disputes within the intelligence about how much data to disclose, Washington gave Moscow the names and other details about several hackers "actively organizing attacks on the United States."

Earlier, Russia's Permanent Representative to the UN, Vasily Nebenzya, said that Moscow and Washington had agreed to inform each other about cybersecurity incidents that concern them.

Nebenzya also positively assessed the dialogue between Russia and the United States on strategic stability.
